I didn't get into the Terminator movies.

Never seen a single one of them. Not interested all that much.

But the pilot's ok?

I liked Summer in Firefly...but then I like Jewel in Firefly too.

I saw Summer for the first time when she played that balletdancer in Angel. And then in Firefly... I was like, wow... Girl! *thud*

And I've met her once so far. She's like the sweetest and most shy person ever.

Also, does Ronon have a thing for Keller mainly because he thinks she needs protecting? I know that happens IRL and I'm sure many people think that's sweet, but it's really not my thing.

That's as good a theory as any. It makes no sense to me either. And how can she honestly relate to him? Sorry, but who would go on a petty spiel of their relatively minor problems to someone like Ronon, who's lost everything? That's like asking a concentration camp survivor how their family is doing. Many people seemed to have enjoyed this ep (according to the review thread) and I wonder if I must be demanding too much intelligence from my entertainment.

I liked it, but I certainly didn't see it as the end-all-be-all of SF as many do. And I thought Serenity was a big letdown from the TV series.

Also, I think Jewel fit far better into her role in Firefly than her role on SGA. Sorry PTB, she's way too young and green to be believable as a CMO. Sort of like Mitchell leading SG1. It would have been far better to write her as a regular, new doctor instead of going so far as to put her in charge of Atlantis medical, much like it would have been better to put Mitchell as the "new guy" on SG1 instead of the boss.

i think thats part of it.. i don't see firefly as the greatest thing ever.. i don't really hate it... hehe just don't like it.... sort of like BSG

but supernatural however is the most awesomest! (thats a word..uh yeah) hehe have i mentioned i like supernatural lately hehe? (waits to get hit with a shoe)

i respect the hell out of Joss Whedon i just don't like his characters ... thats the biggest part for me. Its also why i don't like season 4 of Atlantis... its all about the characters for me.. and TPTB just messed that all up

They could have a neverending loop of happiness together: Max Payne finds a group of enemies, he hurts them, brings them to Whining baby, she heals them, so that Max Payne can hurt them again,...

And there is nothing wrong with having high standards. I have them too
