30+ people of various importance so far have died... And I'm at the end of season 2. Will calculate the totals and averages in a bit, and compare them to season 1 for those who made it whole into the new season.

I think Ronon/Jason will have about the same amount of screentime in 17 episodes as Ford/Rainbow did in 20. Same goes with the wordcount. I estimate a slight decrease on Torri/Elizabeth's screentime, and about the same amount maybe on Rachel/Teyla's. Sheppard/Joe might be increased in time and words. But the big winner will be Rodney/David...

And that's pure speculation at this point in time.

IMO, everyone is expendable except for Shep and McKay. And out of those two, I believe that TPTB would get rid of Shep before McKay, seeing as how much easier it seems for them to develop and focus on Rodney.
