On a more ANTI note. I just saw now, for the 30th time, Thor's Chariot. Amazing episode. Has anyone seen the uncanny resemblance between that Asgard beam dematerialising the Goa'uld infrastructure, soldiers,weapons and the Wraith Darth beam used to harvest people? Is it me, or there is nothing ORIGINAL in SGA?

I noticed that aswell, similarities in technology fuctions can mean similar working effects... I suppose TPTB decided that it expresses dematerialisation quite well...

But I have noticed things in SGA that I would say are alot like SG1: scenes/props/similar stories...

*I am aware that they re-use props to save money which I have no problem with because the saved money then goes to effects/making new props etc*

Yes it is and I've noticed something else. Where the ORI beam has its roots . Great I forgot which one it was . Won't see again those 4 SG1 eps. Next time will get back to this

*trembling* Well, I've been on the fence pretty much about S4, but if they kill Zelenka off (which I've been very afraid of for some reason) I will be spending some quality time here.

And I can confirm, there's no Teyla, Ronon or Beckett in GuP.

IMO Atlantis will never truly be independent of SG1, continue without maybe but never 100% independent...

Sg1's contirbute to BAMSR:

Without gaining plasma weapon upgrades from the Asgard core, Daedalus and Apollo would not have had anywhere near the impact they did on the Asuran ships...

Teal'c's upcoming appearance will also bring Sg1 into Atlantis (Carter now being the leader is a big connection between the two) IMO SGA might be able to cotinue without Sg1 but it will never be fully independent *Not without blocking out the roots of the show anyway*

You scared me. When I read your post I thought everything we wrote these past couple of days was erased . Well, it must mean the Wraith have good ears . They could recognise the sound from Thor's Chariot and they said, yep, we just add the cosine to the thing
