In the spirit of Exploding Tumor, I'm trying to think of the most ridiculous ways for Shep or Ronon to die that would piss off almost everyone in the fanbase with its sheer and utter stupidity.

Ronon could accidentally shoot himself with his own gun.

Shep could die of a lethal alien STD.


Other ideas?

OMG, poor Shep! Where's that smor story by Fionnait? The one with a nasty alien STD?

I didn't watch Moebius. Pictures and several clips from that episode were enough to convince me to stay away from it, which I will in the future too. I couldn't bring myself to watch the latter half of S9 and s10. It's just not the SG - 1 I used to love. That one was gone after S7 "Heroes 1 & 2".

And uniforms - God, how awful are those new uniforms??? Why leather? Is this some sort of fetish or what???

So, I decided to treat myself with an episode I really really like and I'm rewatching "Critical Mass". Lord of the Rings moment cracks me up every time,a nd Hermiod just told Kavanaugh off. I love the little guy!

Those were the times, my friends!

Damn scenes with Charin and Teyla still make me cry! That's probably one of three episodes in whole Stargate that can make me cry.

* Whole heartedly support the "give carter the apollo" movement. Should have had it from the start, and been permanently stationed at Atlantis, but there is another thread covering that

*Koiya (the Genii figher) in Irresponsible. Lame.
*Kate - had been spoiled by her demise (prior to the ep I had been wondering how they could have written an ep where she would be in danger) so when it happened, I was understandably underwhelmed
*Carson - had the biggest impact
*Weir - an exploding window (and b4 I start a debate about which weir is where, I'm really talking about the injury that started everything off). In the ep guide, it mentions weir going to extraordinary lengths to save the city (NOT a base), which admitedly she did, but I had envisioned her having to do something (I dunno, activate some control or something) when she was injured. And was that a symbol of what TPTB thought of Weir - taking something that Weir frequently did (observe from window) and literally throwing it in her face?

Looks like they did just that, and they certainly threw in faces of her fans how "unworthy" she was to even be there. Yet now when she showed up in TMC and BAMSR there was a good number of people who said, dang she was good I'd like to have her back, give her something to do... etc. They can't handle their own characters. They want to do plot driven show, forgetting that they're dealing with grown up human beings - on screens as well as in front of the screens. Some of us (the fans) are also intelligent people. We want intelligent plots - intellectually and emotionally captivating. It seems that these hot shot writers simply can't deliver anything better than wannabe sitcom laced with big frakking explosions.

Lamest death? Exploding tumor. How stupid and unnecessary was that????? And now I really really wonder what kind of reset button will be used to un - do that.

I knew she was going to be in Doppelganger cause of the pictures that became available and the preview. I was completely hyped up. And then the flood of pm's started to arrive and well, I knew enough. Asked people to tell me exactly in great detail what was going on. Time of death and then I watched the episode.

Well, you know...never in my life did I shed a tear with a fictional show until Doppelganger.
