Not to mention Shep getting away with things that would get him an extra bonus of about 20 years in Fort Leavenworth. The writing was sooooooooooooooo out of character and generally bad that I wanted to go after the TPTBs myself (HK-47 just wouldn't be appropriate anymore)

Why would he get 20 years for talking to a civilian who then offers himself to get fed upon? It's a common tactic in law enforcement and interrogations, you keep talking to the person and keep mentioning the consequences of their actions until they cave.

I don't see the big problem especially if "enhanced interrogation techniques" are allowed these days in the USA.

Are you talking about Zhaan? If so, the actress left because the body makeup she had to wear for the part was damaging her health. I don't think that's in any way comparable to what's happened with SGA.

What about severe violation of security protocols, aiding in espionage against the US military and negligence resulting in a death of a civilian person (thet he would be charged with had he written the report like he said he would)?
