Heh, I've been rewatching season 1 of Farscape these days. What a great show that was! Well-written and consistently unpredictable characters/starships. Interesting storylines. Continuity. *cough* SGA could have had all those things.

I want to go to a con sometime, it's one of those fandom activities I really want to partake in, problem is right now I'm too busy with my studies, I'd have to take the time to get my visa and then make the travel plans, etc. There is always something, I wish I could be one of those people that just pack their suitcase and are done, but I think things through too much.

I only ever went to one con... and it was brilliant! San diego comic con.
i was going to go this coming year.. but the cash just isn't there...

Hmmm, and I've been rewatching Deep Space 9 (just finished season 3)...how many other people are watching old favorites in an effort to rinse the bitter taste of season 4 outta the mouth? I bet Dr. Heightmeyer would say something wise about coping mechanisms.

The christmas episode of Doctor Who at one point had 13 million viewers, over 50% of the viewership between 7-8pm

I saw a few minutes of it, and when my sister announced that bit of news earlier today my jaw practically hit the floor. I'll be seeing it on Saturday with friends. We'll be having a Dr. Who get-together.

Wow, that is definitely impressive. We don't have Dr. Who here... I should get my hands on that show somehow!

It rocks! Worth watching...

The episode was a rehash of The Posidon Adventure...

That's the movie I was looking for.... Have been thinking about why it looked so darn familiar.

As far as longest running sci-fi show ever, doesn't Doctor Who hold that title? I thought SG-1 was only the longest running American one.

Dr. Who definitely holds the title of longest running scifi show, has the most seasons and is still going very well.

Ford deserved the Ford treament, Weir doesn't.

Neither did Ford. But at least he will remembered because this act got named after him.

I've been watching the early seasons of Atlantis, and they make me happy.
