The Anti Season 4 Thread (Spoilers). For complaints and misgivings ONLY.
Weir suffered similar fate as Teyla, only she was the leader wallpaper sometimes. She did get more screentime than Teyla.
No Weir suffered being Weir, she should never have been on the show. This bringing her back rubbish has me so anti season 4/5, I just know tptb will cave in to the fans *groans*
if you're not Shep or McKay PTB don't know what to do with you. Occasionally they screw up Sheppard too.
Well Sheppard is one big mess of a character now,
Spoiler:
murderer, immoral, unethical and basically taking a chance of a shag with alien babe before living up to his leadership duties.
You also have to consider that Rachel was pregnant and therefore had to cut the working schedule considerably. Working too hard during pregnancy has REALLY BAD CONSEQUENCES. Trust me. I know
Me too, I wasn't even allowed to collect glasses in the bar I worked in when I was pregnent, I did have a nice chat about my pregnancy with Eric Clapton tho

I love Fearless leader, the character, I love Torri Higginson, the actress, but I don't like TPTBs, who don't know how to write her. They bit off more than they could chew and she paid the price
a term a bunch of silly Weir/Sheppard shippers randomly thought up one day and it kinda caught on. Sounds better than Shweir. Quoted from one of the creators.
Silly shippers.
Oh, so...
Spoiler:
with the repeating stuff again, eh?
To be honest, I'm getting sick of these blatant homages of TPTB.
Spoiler:
If they do what you mention and send Weir to Machine City to end the Weir by sacrificing herself I'll be laughing at the extreme lameness, especially since it would be the third regular character who valiantly sacrifices him/herself to save the others.
Doesn't anyone find it amusing that in the SG universe you never die of (stupid) mistakes? Instead whenever you die it's because you're valiantly saved the lifes of other people, I wish it worked like that in the real world.

As someone who avoids the ship-threads, sans the "Kirking the Universe" thread which is a spoof of shipping, as one would avoid the black plague, I have to ask what is "Sparky"?
Spoiler:
That's why I call Weir Neo or rather Neo-Weir. If this were to happen it's probably an homage to the Matrix.
Dana & Anuna both answered this, but to me it's sparky, because well they just sparkle when they're next to each other. *end of sap*
At least the Sparkies have a name for their shipping... I've been trying to find appropriate names for my OTP. Haven't gotten any further than cute. And in one fic they named a star Kayla.

Kate didn't die saving anyone... She died in her sleep. That's a stupid way to go.
Heightmeyer's Lemming -- still the coolest Lemming of the forum
Didn't Kate's death put them on the road to salvation from that creature?
Well... I thought it was an important point in the episode, one where they realized the creature was far more dangerous than they thought possible. Even though Kate had stated previously during the briefing that the evil Sheppard behaved like a psychopath and that the creature was capable of doing a lot more than bring out your worst nightmare. She warned them.
Most, however, think the important moment was when Rodney died in Sheppard's dream. So yeah, I don't see it like that.
Still...stupid death, right next to exploding tumors.

When do they ever listen? And when do they learn? They always make the same mistake at least once a season.
Still...stupid death, right next to exploding tumors.
And both were in a filler episode.
