@Luz: I'd pick the "seeing the fandom implode" option, since it'll be almost as fun as the time it happened in the HP fandom (The Ron/Hermione/Harry stuff and JKR's reaction to a comment made about the Ron/Hermione ship).

Then again, it's always funny to see a fandom implode.

I've read NC-17 McShep fic so I'd feel dirty if that really happened, but on the other hand seeing fandom implode, it's hard to choose.

Ah this made me think, which is a dangerous thing, why on Earth are the US in charge of the military on Atlantis and more importantly why are regular American soldiers and airforce personal there instead of their special ops? If it's an internation mission it would make sense to send the SAS and the Foreign Legion to Atlantis, after all those two are considered to be the elite forces in the world.

On an X Files board I was a member of we wrote our own season 8 because 90% of the board didn't like the lack of Mulder in it, it turned out to be one of the most popular things we ever did, even the Mods read them and these were BBC mods. We've got a good number of writers here so how about it?

Probably true and don't forget it would hurt the fragile ratings even more if they'd place the US forces in a support role and allow other countries to take charge, besides that it would the too realistic.

Lets throw this on the same pile as the "Why does everyone speak English" question (It would make far more sense for people in the PG to speak some form of the Ancient language and the people in the MW some form of the language spoken in the movie). I wonder why the US audience doesn't like subs?
