Carter, yeah I know she didn't have anything to do with TMC, but I've been wanting a 'Nice Boat' ending for her for a while now. *stabbity STAB*

She doesn't have anything to do with anything. That's the problem. From the little I've seen of s4, Weir with minimum screen time impacted it more than Carter. What's she doing there fcol?! Even her fans are starting to ask this question.

HK-47: Objection: Assassination theory and execution of said theory is my primary function. It is only expected that when my Master speaks to me, it is to give me the order to kill.

I thought Keller is (Ronon's) Barbie doll?
I'm not weird, I'm limited edition.

McBarr asked about Overgrown sissy-toy. Now that you mention it, Whining baby might become Max Payne's new love interest. (I've seen spoilers for Quarantine)

Did somebody read that? "Atlantis" has technical problems and won't start until next year. *gg*

Sparky Shipper. Genetically predisposed to being stubborn... really pesky.

This Atlantis stopped working too? That's disappointing

I thought that was Teyla's job, god knows that according to tptb women have no other function than to attract men and procreate, but then according to them men are irreplaceable while women are easily interchangeable, that's why they thought they'd be able to sneakily replace Weir with Carter and no one would notice.

There is a reason why I call Teyla 'Ass-kicking wallpaper'. And I think people did notice TPTBs changing Fearless leader for Overgrown sissy-toy

                        If she's anyone's Barbie, she's Kate's.

And now the damn song "I'm a Barbie Girl in a barbie world..." is running through my head... (Aqua - Barbie Girl)

That's one of their problems, you know she kicks ass, I know she's a badass, but look at what tptb have done with her, they must have felt relieved when they found out Rachel was pregnant because they were saved from actually having to write her (since they got rid of the other lady from the show). They just came up with some lousy arc and shoved her into a dark corner.

It's a real pity that tptb were blessed with these awesome characters, and great actors, but they have no idea what to do with them.

What's worse, they completely disregard SGA characters and don't consider them good enough to carry a show to the point that they felt that the only way to fix Atlantis (and aside from their incapability to write decent plots I didn't think there was anything else in need of fixing) was to bring in characters from a canceled t.v show.

They never gave Atlantis a chance, they simply always considered it 'that other trash of a t.v show we won't even bother with because it's not as good as our darling SG1'.

This may have already been mentioned, but this is what Syfy Portal says about TMC:

Well, is it just me or does this remind anyone else of "Stargate SG-1" season one’s "Tin Man" (duplicates of the team that don’t realize it) combined with season four’s "Double Jeopardy" (the same duplicates sacrifice themselves to save the originals)? This is a little disturbing since the last episode, "Miller’s Crossing," reminded me a little too much of "Desperate Measures."

It was a good hour overall, but I hope this trend of Atlantis episodes "replicating" SG-1 plots doesn’t continue ... wspecially when you consider that the Replicators are practically "replications" of SG-1’s Replicator threat. I’m still a little puzzled by that one.

At least they could call them something else or try to tie the two together somehow. The two versions seem too much like each other to not have linked origins.

Again, where is Carter? Why bother having her join the series if she is always gone. I think the big weakness this season has been the poor integration of this beloved character. When she is there, she doesn’t seem like the soldier/uber-scientist that we all know and love. Instead, she feels like a watered down version of Weir.

When all else fails, change channels.

A carbon copy and a very bad one at that.
