Sorry, I had to reply to this. How can you compare A major mini-series production to a drama series that pulls in decent ratings for multiple weeks. Run Tin Man as a series and lets see how it pairs.

I don't think tin man would really make a good long term series. It was fun and all but one can only watch the wizard of oz so many times.

That 4.2 will likely be a lot less maybe even cut in half for last night's ep. I really liked the show but it was not the best thing I've seen on TV.

Yup, to me it was obvious too. And I believe it wasn't an argument of sorts between her and TPTB...they just needed space for someone 'new'. After I know the fate of Elizabeth in whichever last episode she's in, I'm gone from here.

Actually some people have been going on and on about how it's not possible for any shows on the sci-fi channel to get good LIVE ratings anymore, sci-fi gets crappy ratings, so SGA's lousy LIVE ratings couldn't be considered that crappy in the big picture. That's what I keep hearing, movies, wrestling, all types of shows, like OMG see SGA is the BEST that the network has.

Well, is or isn't Tin Man on sci-fi?, so see it's possible, just not for SGA, and I'm not even saying it should get a 4.0 'cause the most it ever got was like what a 2.2 (and those were very good numbers), just saying if people really wanted to watch SGA LIVE they would, Tin Man shows it's still possible for people to watch the shows they do want to watch LIVE.
And even with the DVR spin, people still struggle to try to make it look like those horrible numbers SGA is getting can come close to the LIVE numbers it used to pull.

So, people still watch things LIVE on sci-fi, just NOT SGA.
