If TPTB continue like this S5 will be the last season. There is so much potential in this show. How do they sc**w up I have no idea. Missing was so bad I felt like I was watching Irresistible and Irresponsible. Where did they find Keller? Did they google her?

First of all, a welcome back to Luz, even if I wasn't on GW when she used to post in this thread

I watched Missing (gee, 40 minutes I could have spent here), and there were some good bits and bad bits.

Spoiler:

Good bits:
- I really loved Teyla, and I'm glad she finally had her own episode.
- The John/Teyla moments. I don't ship them (heaven forbid), but for a moment, in the infirmary, it felt like the old SGA. *cries quietly*
- The new race: at least they don't have implants.

- Whining Keller: not funny. It looked like they just crossed the name 'McKay' off the script and wrote 'Keller' in its place. There were some moments that made me smile, but that's not enough to make me like the character
- The Athosians: can we please stop wiping entire civilizations off the universe?

There's probably more, but I wasn't paying much attention to the episode, and I'm too tired to think at the moment.

According to what JM said in his blog, I'll have two episodes to watch in the next month, and then it'll probably be over.

I thought she was older, so I've checked on IMDB and... She's not even 3 years older than me! A person of this age would hardly have a MD, let alone run a medical department of this size and importance. It's about as credible as Col. Everett not throwing Sheppard into prison in episode 'Siege part 2'

The way i see it.

Weir <> Her facial expressions and speeches were b grade at best..good move to change her. <> It seems those in charge felt the same way.

I still maintain Jessica was a whole lot better as Weir in SG-1. Another SG-1 character that should have stayed there. Maybe Weir was just better in that first eppy full stop but Weir on SGA was a boring character for most of the show. That is in the end why I think Weir was written out.
