Regarding all the recent comments about how s4 is "darker" not because of a darker tone per se but because the sets themselves are darker (), maybe TPTB are trying to save up money for teh awesome CGI! by using fewer lightbulbs?

Gods help them if their budget goes down next year - the eps with be 43 minutes of voices in pitch black.

I see things are holding steady. I had this evil thought. Wouldn't it be funny if the ratings for Travellers actually went up because "you know who" and "you know who #2" were nowhere to be found. He he. Yeah, I know its an evil dream, but I'm holding on by a thread here.

The Nielsen ratings number is believed to be the "Live + Sam Day" rating. While at first glance Stargate Atlantis's ratings look to be down from last year, the "Live + 3 Days" and "Live + 7 Days" for the season premiere show that its total viewership is about the same -- or perhaps even a little higher.

?????? how does that make sense. Wouldn't logic dictate that if they factored in the DVR numbers last season the ratings would have been higher. So how does the total viewership end up being the same or higher this season ?????

So the 1.1 is the live rating plus the same-day DVR viewing? Heh, what's the live rating alone? 0.8/0.9?
