The Anti Season 4 Thread (Spoilers). For complaints and misgivings ONLY.
I did suggest an idea for 'What would you watch instead of Series 4' but it got lost under the gushing and squeeing
For me it would be
Top Gear
4400
NCIS
Dr Who
possibly cause we have talked about that loads of times already but thats okay i don't mind talking about it again....and my choice Supernatural.... its all i'm watching
and a little squeaing is good for the soul... can't be pissy 100% of the time
the reason i stick around anyways is because i once loved the show, sometimes you got to
remember why you loved it so you can put just how much season 4 sucks in to perspective
Spoiler:
"It gets sort of Zen after a while, Life is a Journey. Time is a River. The door is Ajar."

I should take up watching that -- there's some time free (I don't need to shower ) -- it looks interesting.
*hugs* I saw your name mentioned on every LJ entry made about Doppelganger. Everyone loves you and don't want to see you sad! And it was sad!
*blush*
No idea I was so widely known, or at least that FH was so widely known. Though it seems that 'Kate Heightmeyer' and 'Falcon Horus' are mostly used in the same sentence. (depends on the convo of course) One is almost always associated with the other.
I wonder why?
Tonight's the night. Doppelganger is on TV today.
BUT I'm happily living in the land of denial and I intend to stay there the rest of the season (and possible future seasons). I prefer denial to reality.
Heroes
Desperate Housewives (what can I say, the characterization is better than SGA)
Scrubs (when it starts)
I'm currently rewatching JAG (background noise as I do my reading) and I would really, really like to give BSG a shot one day (when I find the time). Sounds like something I would love
How *did* you get so inextricably associated with Kate anyway, FH? Was there anyone in specific given the same treatment when Weir's fate was revealed? Or maybe it wasn't which character was leaving, it's just that everyone just loves you in particular!
For me, I've given up d/l s4, and I'm now frantically catching up on 4400- wow, so much has changed since I saw it last! Season 4 is *awesome*.
House is also my drug of choice. Always will be. Unless they kill Cuddy off.
Bionic Woman and Heroes are also exciting, and I LOVE Life, great new show.
I'm just a little sad at times that I know SGA is airing but I can't be bothered accessing new eps. It's so messed up.
'I am frightened that the flame of hate will burn me
will scorch my pride, scar my heart
It will burn and I cannot put it out...'
Alright you guys are reminding me of shows I watch and didn't include in my original list. So let's say I am just a TV junkie and there's no hope for me ever!
Agreed, ToasterOnFire. "Atlantis" was a beautiful concept that was very poorly handled. I've always speculated that with such an excellent premise, the show could have been as good as BSG in the hands of skilled writers. Thinking over how much dramatic potential has been wasted, it seems more and more a travesty.
Largely due to the fact that they made the city largely trivial and uncharming.
USB this, reprogram that, Ancients suck morons big dicks and so forth and do on. :| *sigh*
Having a ruined and mysterious city stuck somewhere in a desert would have brought much more mystique.
From the get go, the city's design was largely disputable, and lacked awe, inspiration and majesty.
I was quite open minded in season 1. I admitted it wasn't like SG-1, but I said to other pals who appreciated SG-1 to try Atlantis.
However, after 3 years of forced watching, always waiting for the redeeming writing I expect from a professional product, what I tell them is just to forget about the franchise.
So I'm waiting, but seriously, if by the middle of season 4, we realize that it's just going to be season 2's and season 3's worst moments mixed up, damn, some profound staff managing will be seriously required.
amen hehe i always feel like we should be having candle light vigils on friday nights lol ..damn i miss my show
oooh you could! We could start posting some candle pics. Our own little vigil. You know I would turn off my laptop when SGA used to come on, now it's on and I am surfing. That's messed up.

That's what I don't understand. If someone should know the answer, I'd love to hear it. PM me since that's an OT-topic.
I've been thinking the same thing in association with Weir and Beckett. Maybe it's the one versus the many theory... One fan versus a whole bunch of fans... I don't know. Anyone else?
If I had known way before this episode was shot I'd have started a Save Campaign. Not sure if it would have lasted as long as the Weir and Beckett-ones though.
And me being liked... Yeah, I have made great friends here and a few enemies (what? Don't look so surprised. Yes, I have enemies.). I love GW so much I can't stay away from it... Only holidays and internet-less days keep my away from this crazy place.
FH, one versus many makes sense. Not to take anything away from Kate, but she never had the exposure Weir had [and when I'm whingeing how little screen-time she had, I need to look at Kate and get some perspective], so when one fan mentions being obsessed, it probably sticks more in people's minds. And all the Weir fans were too busy crying to single out one person to comfort over her departure, whereas you were more visible, if that's coherent. It's after midnight, I'm allowed to not make sense.

Copy cat. I'm more messed up than you are. XP
Teenage angst here! *waves*
Enemies? Yikes. Well, I have one- what do you call it, the opposite of green. Grey? I don't even know what I did to deserve it! I was paying out TPTB, so maybe it was karma, lol.
