The Anti Season 4 Thread (Spoilers). For complaints and misgivings ONLY.
fordable = expendable, easy to forget or overlook, sent to a distant land and unknown future, facing the impeding doom of oblivion.
Heh, I was using it as a verb.
To Ford: (v) The process of ditching, dumping, or tossing a character that TPTB have difficulty writing want to move in a different direction. Generally occurs when another character comes along to catch TPTB's attention ("Ooh, shiny!") serve as a proper replacement. It is vital that said character is not killed or given a proper send-off as to string along fans who are hoping to see that character again. See also, To Jonas.

Oh come now, we all know that vibrating couches are so much louder than non-vibrating couches!!
haha, the best. so we turn on the vibrating when we want to make ourselves heard even more, for example when new spoilers we don't like come out, when TPTB speak, anything makes us upset even more. We should have an anti-dictionary.

Interview with SGA cast regarding changes in Season 4. (Hewlett, Tapping, Luttrell, & Flannigan).
Major season 4 spoilers. Read at your own risk.
I found JF's comments interesting. About how he had to make a case to add more stuff in regarding Elizabeth's departure. I won't say more here, in deference to those who aren't reading about S4.
JF: The dynamic that's developed by having Amanda in the show is that she and David Hewlett have a pre-existing relationship, so that's a very funny and entertaining thing to watch. My character now, I'm just listening, trying to keep up with the science of it. You find me listening a lot more. Or trying to listen.
Less Shep/McKay interaction. A lot of Carter/McKay interaction. Not a good thing for Shep/McKay fans
I was concerned that the transition was too quick. So I went upstairs and I talked to them and I said, "I think we're just moving way too quickly on this." I felt, shouldn't we pause, say, "Oh, we should try to find Dr. Weir and rescue her, hold out hope that she could come back, that we could rescue her,"
Joe seems to have the brains to realise that people actually care about the character, even though TPTB don't. It doesn't surprise me, given the fact he's said before he likes working with Torri. I just confirms to me that they're going to pull a Ford on her. It also confirms the kidnapping that we all knew was coming. Way for them to be creative...

In that case, everything we fear is about to come true and all we can do is brace ourselves for one bumpy ride and possibly an impact which might cause quite a bit more damage to the show than TPTB thought possible.

Spoiler:
"It gets sort of Zen after a while, Life is a Journey. Time is a River. The door is Ajar."
~ Waldo Butters, in Dead Beat by Jim Butcher

They had a massive reaction from fans when they dumped Beckett. They're experiencing a massive reaction from fans for dumping Weir. Both of the reactions negative.
If they haven't woken up to the fact that people are pissed off and don't like what they're doing... seriously.
To quote a line from a Kelly Clarkson song, TPTB, "I would never wish bad things, but I don't wish you well".
Goes in the same category as "What goes around comes around" and "Karma's a *****"
