The Anti Season 4 Thread (Spoilers). For complaints and misgivings ONLY.
Humor is the great thing, the saving thing after all. The minute it crops up, all our hardnesses yield, all our irritations, and resentments flit away, and a sunny spirit takes their place. --Mark Twain

I know this is the anti-season 4 thread and some of you won't be watching season 4 at all. But, I ran across this article today and wanted to share for those of you out there who are going to watch season 4 (or at least part of it). It is in spoiler tags just to be safe, though.

Spoiler:
In the big season-three cliffhanger, the city of Atlantis was launched into space to avoid a deadly Replicator energy weapon. "We are effectively lost in space. That's how things pick up in season four," says executive producer Joseph Mallozzi. "Essentially we don't know where we are, our shield begins to collapse, and we're running out of energy."
The premiere episode "Adrift," focuses on what happens to Elizabeth Weir, who was gravely injured in the Replicator attack. "After that we follow up with an episode called 'Life Line,' which in many ways is the second part of a two-parter,...We end up coming up with a possible solution, a really long-shot solution to our energy problem."
The solution will take them to Replicator Central for a daring and dangerous mission. "Amid all this going on in the first two episodes, we have a C plot, where C stands for Carter [laughs]...She boards the Apollo, and Dr. Lee tries to help track down the lost city. That's the first two. Lots of crazy visual effects, especially in 'Adrift.' A very cool spacewalk and we've got, I think, the greatest live-action version of Space Invaders," says Mallozzi.
Carter joins the Atlantis expedition in "Reunion," becoming a regular on the series. Mark Dacascos of Iron Chef America guest-stars. And in "Missing," Teyla heads off-world with Dr. Keller, the new chief medical officer, to give medical care to Athosian children. Dr Keller is played by Firefly's Jewel Staite.
"This episode kicks off a season-long arc for Teyla," says Mallozzi. "We had an original arc planned for Teyla, and then when Rachel came in and told us she was pregnant it kind of threw a wrench in things. So we wrote the pregnancy into the storyline. Kind of tweaked the original arc that we had envisioned, but it's still there, and it's going to be a dark turn for Teyla."
It was a fast transcription on my part - hope there are no typos.
