No announcement yet.
The Anti Season 4 Thread (Spoilers). For complaints and misgivings ONLY.
It would be a community which is only meant for material from Atlantis-That-Was, which means fanfiction which takes place from The Rising till The Ark or where Sunday and First Strike never happened. Also not allowed is fanfic where Carter is leader of Atlantis, or where Keller is the Chief of Medicine.
Everything else is allowed. For now it would only be fanfic, since that's what we were talking about in the first place.
Count me in! Some people that hang around here know me as a pretty good writer.
Personally, I think an LJ-comm is easier to set up. But that's just me.
nah its cool! i totally appreciate you all supporting me with this.. thank you ... ((hugs))
Hell no!! We fight till the bitter end! *looks around* We do, right?
totally, gads i was reading more about Sam today..its all sam sam sam crap...
oh won't it be great that Sam is coming over and she will challenge Rodney and her character will develop and grow... gads makes me want to barf.
Err... ...thanks ... I think. *scratches head*
hehe i just mean you are calm and organized... and well i am neither hehe
I could make you one.
thank you so much!
Anyone have an idea... Atlantis-That-Was ... I don't know.
But as soon as you do know a name, I can make a banner.
Atlantis: the lost expeditions ((hugs)) thank you thank you!
Totally understand. It would be nice to remember Atlantis the way it used to be . . . before the reset fairy waived its evil magic wand and screwed everything up. LOL.
hehe i just mean you are calm and organized... and well i am neither hehe
Calm - check.
Organized - semi-check.
I'm better organized online than I am in real life.
And to everyone else ... progress on comm: I'm playing with its lay-out. Stay tuned for more updates. My spoilers and updates are way more fun than those of season 4.
okay making a LJ community called
Atlantis: the Lost Expeditions
stay tuned
Lost Expedition:
- Beckett doesn't die on Sunday;
- Weir is not seriously injured on First Strike;
- No Sam/Keller;
- Atlantis is stranded in space after dodging Asuran attack (First Strike);
- McKay finds a way to dial the gate in deep space, thus allowing the expedition to evacuate the city to a safe planet;
- Atlantis is presumably captured by the Asurans;
- All communications with Earth are severed, thus Lost Expedition ;
- The expedition has to use its skills to survive in PG (everyone is useful again/enemies are dangerous again);
- Show's objective: reclaim Atlantis and reestablish contact with Earth someday.

I love it. Isn't this just the kind of thing we have been wishing for? If they did this, their ratings would be higher than wrestling.

Was Keller brought in with Col Beach, or was she supposed to have been a random doctor already in the original expedition (which the viewers never saw)? If it's the latter, I wouldn't object to her working with Beckett, much like Zalenka works with McKay. But I definitely NO to her being the CMO, replacing Beckett!

I like it very much and I think it's very do - able (is that a word?)!! If you guys are gonna write it, count me in! My fav part of this idea is that communication with Earth is broken off, and they are on their own again. I can help with the overall plot and write few episodes. I'm good with actual character development and not so usual character interaction (ask paris!) Is anyone going to set up LJ community?

And NO to Carter--she should stay with SG-1!
I think Keller was just a random doctor. I could write her like Beckett's assistaint if you wish, but not replacement.
