I don't know what you guys have in mind, but please count me in too. I would love to have a place to rage (LOL) about SGA to my heart's content. I don't plan on watching season 4, but that doesn't mean I can't bi*tch and moan about it. LOL.

It would be a community which is only meant for material from Atlantis-That-Was, which means fanfiction which takes place from The Rising till The Ark or where Sunday and First Strike never happened. Also not allowed is fanfic where Carter is leader of Atlantis, or where Keller is the Chief of Medicine.

Everything else is allowed. For now it would only be fanfic, since that's what we were talking about in the first place.

I think an LJ community would work great. And never underestimate the power of the Antis. I know a lot of people had a problem with last episode of season 7, and all of Seasons 8 & 9 of the X-Files. They started their own "Virtual Seasons" which is still running today...they are up to their 7th season.

If we can all get organized and promote this, I think you would get a lot of responses...

If there should be a safe haven where fanfic consists of the happy season 1 to 3, and no Carter as leader, and no Keller as Chief of Medicine. Where would you like this safe haven to be...

I don't mind either. I live on LJ and I have plenty of boards/forums to visit and there's always room for more.

That would be cool but would need quite a bit of thinking. Not like TPTB run head on without thinking about what has yet to come. They have the food cooked and the candle isn't even burning yet. <-- Does that make sense? Am I making sense?

I'm on LJ as well and think a fanfic comm such as this would be great. I would be happy to help out as my time permits.

As far as naming it, I'll throw this into the mix:

Atlantis: The Lost Expedition

I would also cut the city totally off from earth, thus getting rid of the dreaded crossover.
