I's so ticked off at this (from the DH interview on GW's front page):



He makes it seem like the Weir character is forever changed and that there's no chance of her coming back.

Way to go TPTB. Way to kill a good show.

This is just getting better and better. How many confirmations do we need?

It seems it's going to be about SG1... And I feel sorry for Jason... O wait, SG1 is the most important one. *headdesk* How could I forget? *shakes head*

I'm confused, which show was cancelled...


I found the DH interview interesting, or maybe disturbing is a better word. The closer we get to the start of S4, the more we're hearing about Elizabeth's fate. And none of it sounds good. If she does end up as repli!Weir or something similar, how is this character development? The only way this is going to work for me is if somehow she retains part of her human self and there is a chance for redemption, that somehow she will be herself again.

At least some of the actors are going to miss Elizabeth / Torri.

At the end of the day, we've only got her for 4 more episodes. We'd better get some good follow through on what happens to her or I'll slowly be sliding off the fence. And if they don't bring her back as a regular in season 5, I'll happily step down and go on my way. Yes, I know, I'm not a true fan. But honestly, I don't think I've ever been this angry about a tv show. I'd be better off stepping away so my enjoyment of the first 3 seasons isn't tainted.

You know, none of us here can really affect the ratings without the almighty Nielsen box. But haven't TPTB heard that old adage about if you do something wrong to one person, you've done it to 10 people because that one person is going to keep talking about it. Or in my case, not talk about it. I know several people (casual viewers) that used to watch the show because I talked it up. Now, I'm not talking and they're not watching.

It will be interesting to see how the casual NB viewer will take the changes at the start of S4, don't you think?

i honestly think the viewership probably won't change

the antis that leave will be replaced by sg-1 fans
but as the season goes on i think the general public will see what its
become and the rating will slowly fall, but i think curiosity will give it good ratings in the beginning ...people do enjoy watching a train wreck, but after a while even that gets boring

Well there goes the speculation. I had a feeling they would do something to Elizabeth's character that changes her (but seriously, if nobody dies in sci fi how come you can make irreparable damage to a character in a show like SGA?) and probbably in a bad way. I don't want to see that because I like Elizabeth the way she is, and we all know many of her virtues. So no thank you tptb, I'll stick to what I like, and that is first 3 seasons of SGA and normal Elizabeth.

I don't thing SGA will last more than 5 seasons. Kicking out characters never is a good sign.
