What really worries me about S4 is that it may continue to focus entirely too much on Shep and McKay (and i don't mean McShep!). It got a bit one-note, with the others - like Teyla and Ronin - relegated to (very pretty) window dressing. Or fodder for McKay's whinging.

Yeah, I never liked how Teyla and Ronon were always paired off as window dressing to The McShep Show. I really hope they don't do that in S4, because it really got old.

Indeed. Bringing a decennial SG-1 character to Atlantis is a prime example of their lack of creativity.

As does utilizing the same combination of characters, and using the same two people in every scene that's supposed to be even remotely humorous.

i don't mind the shep and rodney stuff but i also love the ronon and shep stuff etc etc..... but i mean sam and shep or keller and shep... i think i may barf

Argh, I'm so worried about how TPTB will write this in. I really hope that her baby arc didn't take away from the big arc TPTB talked about before RL got pregnant. I was really hoping for an arc concerning her leadership, the Athosians, a dark turn with the Earthers, anything but bun-in-the-oven Teyla.

Of course, pregnant Rachel means no Rodney/Katie pregnancy. And since I'm not a huge fan of that ship so far I consider that a partial blessing. Sorry Teyla, Rodney's still my number one.

I would rather they took all the flash away, is it so hard to believe that Teyla actually falls in love and just has a baby? Why does it have to be a scandle? Why does it have to be an alien possessed baby or whatever. ..if its a baby at all.

the more i hear about season 4 the more i'm happy to have my head in the sand.

I agree, I really hope the Teyla storyline works out. I still don't feel a connection to her because even though they have told us she's a leader, they haven't shown us IMO. I always felt more scenes between Teyla and Elizabeth would help and it would have been natural since they are both leaders. Just when we start to get a few at the end of season 3, they decide to jettison Elizabeth.

And don't get me started on Rodney/Katie...
