The CGI for the ship action was beautiful, but the building looked like a Sci-fi original movie.

If they had to go the trapped-in-the-rubble-route, maybe they could have just had a sudden loud noise and dirt falling in front of the camera, with the characters screaming. I know it's cliche, but it would've been more emotional and effective in my book. Even though we know they're going to walk away fine.I'm fairly sure it would've been cheaper, and at least it wouldn't have been quite as laughable as the CGI wannabe building.

Unless you intend to kill off the lead characters on a seasonal basis, these types of cliffhangers make no sense at all. And the bad building collapse CGI literally made me laugh out loud after I got over the shock of how bad it was.

Spoiler:The best cliffhanger I've seen was this morning at 04:00. It lasted around 3 hours, thunderstorm, lightning, strong winds, trash cans falling everywhere, the big ass trees on the street dancing and preparing to take a dive, electricity cables tearing, rivers on the street, etc. Beat that 4400 and bear in mind this is Luxembourg where things like that never happen.

Spoiler:Is Luxembourg landlocked? because that sounds like what we had back in March when the Spring High Tide combined with Violent Storm force winds and driving rain
