Really? I kind of hope not. Not a big fan of leads being recast, though if the actor wants to leave I can respect that. Oh, yeah, I meant to mention that this cheesy series had a character death--and it had a funeral for this character, even though they'd been on the show only briefly. And SGA had no memorial service for Weir, the leader of the expedition for three years. How pathetic.

Yes, I think it's his decision. Although I really should re-read that article, it's been a while. ITA about the memorial/funeral. Weir is shoved under the carpet just like that. There was barely a rescue mission. More like, hey park the puddle jumper here for a while, and see what we see. *boo hiss*
