My experience with Vista :

1. Installed last monday.
2. My HP ALL in one did not work for 2 days. I had to do some ridiculous stuff.
3. My Audigy Platinum Soundcard had no support, i also worked 2 days to fix it and find solutions.
4. Friday, my Vista PC refused to see my XP pcs and laptop on my network.
5. I spent Friday night and Saturday all morning to fix it. I could not. My Vista pc could see my computers only if I would type in the IP addresses. My router is auto dhcp so this is pointless because at every reboot my pcs have different addresses. Usually, you access a computer via its name.
6. Cursed on the microsoft forums and nobody had a solution.
7. Format c:, Install XP PRO +Sp2, and everything worked fine since.


I only had problems!!!! NO DRIVER SUPPORT, NOTHING!!!! Unbelievable, after 2 years on the market nothing works properly. I spent more fixing it rather than enjoying it. Oh yeah, did I mention that every 5 seconds you get the message: Are you sure you want to run that? It took me 30 minutes to disable it and then windows kept telling me I am vulnerable. The nicest thing, if you don't run your AV as an administrator VISTA won't let it scan properly!!!!My god, it takes so many menus, sub-menus, left, right, just to remove that stupid desktop background photo!!! A photo that takes tons of RAM at startup. VISTA is this super extra fancy looking OS with no user friendly features . I wonder why do you need all those animations, they kill your RAM, degrade your pagefile and slow down your computer!!!

Long story short, VISTA is a big pile of manure!!!! Will stay on XP until it wont be compatible with everything else . Did I mention that my wireless keyboard would not work properly until I found some random Vista drivers . Another 2 hours spent on the WWW

Somebody told me my name was taken in vein on a certain thread, so I know who doesn't like me. They just respect their elders I guess. Oh well. But I have never redded anyone so that gives me the upper hand. *immature mouth noises*

I usually only red people for insulting the actors or being downright stupid. Or not backing up their opinion, with more that "keller should stay cuz shes hot lol sorry lol!!!!!!" Which is also one of the former. I also never red people back if they red me first ... I won't waste my time on them. If I red someone and recieve a complimentary red back, I know I was right

I know, but it meant slightly more when they died if they were given a few funny lines beforehand. I felt bad for tomato guy in GUP...they don't care about the little touches anymore.

I loved the old redshirts. They were great. What happened?

For SGA, pretty much the same, although more looking forward than back as they hadn't done a lot at that stage. You get a bit more info on the characters and their (TPTB) reasons for creating them. A lot of it now would seem a bit out of place as the show, the cast, and probably the crew have morphed somewhat

I agree, every time I have strayed into the general discussion threads I get really nasty comments back! Everyone in the anti threads that I normally post in are generally much nicer!

Mind you, I find it really hard to write any posts without insulting Keller at least once so maybe that's why people on those threads don't like what I have to say, do ya think!!!??

I have redded people, but trust me you need to be absolutely nasty to receive it, after which the ignore-feature goes in working.

I have received red twice so far since my signing up in 2004, and 3 weeks ago I recieved my first infraction for my signature being too big.

Well, I've found certain things are inevitable. Any thread that includes discussion of Carson, Elizabeth, Ford, Teyla's "story arc", plot holes, canonized ships, characters to cut, and many more will inevitably lead to me dissing TPTB. Any discussion about Carson's return will inevitably lead to Keller-dissing.

Any general discussion will involve me throwing a b*tchfit at some point
