Ok, I've seen Vegas and-

I really enjoyed it! The story seemed to imply this was Rod's universe (from McKay and Mrs Miller), but he didn't go by Rod here, and he didn't act like the Rod we saw in that ep, so I'm not sure. He acted more like the Rodney we know, especially with Radek and the way they were bickering (some things never change)!

Loved the bit about the Star Trek experience, where Woolsey knew it had been closed and Radek was bummed because he'd wanted to see it! Love our geeks.

Radek looked gorgeous.

Oh, and I'm certain that after the closing credits, a helicopter swooped in and picked up injured Shep.

Sad thing about SGA cancellation is that it will be alot harder to see David's work as he truely has become on of my favorite actors - he's in the top 5!

I can see where you are coming from if you saw both of those episodes back to back. I had a chance to let Quarantine sink in and just enjoy watching two of my favorite characters together before having it slightly tainted by Trio.

Heh. Yes. The reaction went something like:

I agree that Trio response was not Sam. Though in all fairness, I have seen management in small personal settings respond similar to what Sam did with employees that they don't connect with - though the comments were not appropriate they did fit with that person's personality where as Sam's comments didn't.

Boss Lady does it all the time.

Not only was making the comment OOC, but I think Sam would (should) know that

: Wow, I just saw down your shirt, that's really awkward, so I'm just going to quietly pretend it never happened.

is much more pleasant than

:Flash those kids up there and don't mind if I look, too.

Rodney has those nightmares for a reason, IMO. ~.^

My daughter's dad is part Native American so the culture has had a huge influence in my life. I thought Rosehawk sounded kind of cool.

- Zelenka instead of McKay in Trio. The dynamic would have been totally different, and the kids probably would have helped them out right away because it's Radek (Radek and kids! ) and he would have been better at convincing them to help, or at least not hampering things.

It certainly would have been shorter.

Carter: Um, okay, ah. Brian Greene or Neil deGrasse Tyson?
Keller: I don't know who they are.
Carter: They're physicists. They've been on TV--

Yes, please! I would watch that, and I don't even watch those shows now (they're usually too gross for me)! But I'd watch if they were in it.

Oh I know! We can keep up with some of what he's doing when he posts about it on his blog, but some of that stuff may never make it out to where I can see it!

I just hope he keeps up his blog. He's not exactly great about keeping it up-to-date though he's gotten better lately, especially since fans had Joe Mallozzi bug him about it once.
Without the exposure of something like SGA, he may just go back to being a quiet actor that we don't hear much about. I hope not!

He does have some movies coming out that we should be able to see in the States like Helen and Sewn. However his Beast of Bottemless Lake is an independent Canadian movie and the movie of the week he just did is Canadian so who knows if we will get to see them here in the States or in Europe. I think it is going to be a hit and miss to see his work.

Echos is one of my favorites. It was fun to see that Radek didn't mind camping and didn't have to wear his usual uniform.
I really enjoyed the Radek and Ronon moments, those two just never had enough interaction together.
It's also the episode where we find out about the pigeons!
