David told the story about filming the space walk scene with Joe. The crew got the instructions to build the suits off the internet. They had to hang from these cranes which were manually pushed around by big burly guys. The director, Martin Wood I think, would tell the guys 'okay, when they push off I want you to pull them across the room as fast as you can and really make them hit the wall hard'. And they did - ouch.

My sister was getting David's autograph and trying to pick out a picture for him to sign at his table. They had one in his spacesuit. She said she didn't like that one because it reminded her that she thought they were trying to kill Zelenka off when she first saw it. David said they always read the last page of a script right away to see if they are still talking - to know they made through another episode.

You are one lucky woman. I want to meet him so badly, though I'm afraid when I do I won't have a clue what to say! "Hi, how are you," seems kind of silly in the middle of a convention.....

Ever, I LOVE that shot of him. He looks so impish. Hiccups, I would colorize his eyes if I knew what color to make them - they seem to change! Does he have hazel eyes or just blue, because I swear I've seen different colors.....

Naw, you guys wouldn't mess up and if you do...enjoy it as a fun fan moment. I was a total idiot when I first met David...so much so that everyone at the table was having a good laugh over it while I just wanted to sink under the table and David was like 'what is going on?'
I've got it on video and only recently built up the nerve to watch it again. I met him in 2008 and it's now 2011 and it's the first time I've watch the whole 5 minutes since it was sent to me shortly after the 2008 convention. Yep, still turned red with embarassment watching it!

David knows how to make fans feel at ease so just say hi and he will start talking. He likes to ask questions and best of all he really does listen to the answers. He enjoys meeting his fans!

Love what you did with his eyes Nayari. Nice job!

I had a pretty stupid fan moment the first time I met Joe Flanigan too! At least with that one there is no way that Joe would remember!
