Hey, 'The Beast of Bottemless Lake' is going to have it's world premeier in Okanagan, one of the locations they filmed in and basically where the legend comes from!

While I'm glad for the movie, I'm a bit bummed because I can't extend my vacation long enough to see it! Ohhhhh, so close, so close....this fan is bumming big time!

For me this is the one film I really really want to see, not only because David's in it but alot of the other cast look really great too and it just sounds like a really well done fun story!

Well, technically it's debuting at the film festival. What happens from there no one knows. I would think that connections would be made at how to distribute the movie. My guess is though it's going to be in Canada before it hits the States. Fans can only hope for a big screen release but the odds of that are astronomical. David Hewlett's movie "A Dog's Breakfast" was great enough for a big screen released and Hewlett was just excited that it was picked up for a DVD release.

And one of Nykl's other movies 'Helen' got rave reviews from the film festivals it was in but it still has not been released to the public. Which I am also bummed about, not only was David Nykl in it but a few other actors like Ashley Judd - who I have come to enjoy her work and Lauren Lee Smith who I like alot as well were in it.

At the very least we'll get a DVD, but I really hope it makes it to TV or the big screen!

Yeah, I get to a David enounter of the third kind next month if I can pull things off- He's starting his summer convention circuit at Gatecon! Really excited, get to meet a few other actors that I wanted to too! One of the fun things when you get to meet a favorite actor is that the conventions give you an opportunity to let them know and to tell them how much you appreciate their work.

'Beast' sounds like a really well done movie and the actors in it may not be well known but from what I can tell they are all extremely talented and the bits and pieces I know about the movie is that it's going to be great. Beside's how can it not be great, David's got the Lead role!

Convention reports, got it! Let's just hope things work out so that I can go!

Yeah, we fans have to be patient but it sooooooooo frustrating to be so close to actually being able to see it at the film festival, so close and yet so far because I can't take another two weeks to explore Vancouver to go see it at the festival. Ahhhhh, so close....
And as time goes on we see less and less of David on the screen.... Yikes.....I'd better stop, I'm getting bummed!

Okay, I'm pisssssssssed. David's not going to GateCon anymore. He was absolutely the only reason why I was going. I'm guessing the pull to London and the Czech Republic is too good to resist! I know if I had the choice! No - I don't know why he's not coming but these other two conventions are practically on top of GateCon.

I wouldn't even be going to the convention if it wasn't the chance to get to see him probably one last time as I wanted to hang-up my Stargate convention hat this summer and move on to other things. I'm going to have to rethink going now........

Okay, I'm getting off now....not a happy camper right now!
