I actually saw a production of Noises Off at my alma mater and it was hysterical. David would be smashing in it. More Nykl news and pix please!! Woohoo!! }:Osigpic

I was at the Stargate 2010 convention in Melbourne yesterday. The whole thing was very badly organised & running late, but one of the things that made it all worthwhile was meeting David.
I first got a photo with him, & told him that he & Paul McGillion had the sexy accents on the show, so he immediately said in his Czech accent "I really have to stop doing the accent" which made me laugh for the photo. I told him it was lovely to meet him & I'd see him again later at the autograph table.
Then during his Q&A with Conner Trinneer, I asked them if they were aware of the online campaign to get more Stargate movies made, especially Atlantis. They said no, & David asked if it was me organising it. I said no, but that I'm involved. David particularly seemed keen for the campaign to succeed.
Then finally I got to his autograph table. I told him that I was disappointed because the professional photo with him still hadn't come back (like I said, badly organised con!), so he said if he was still around when it arrived that he'd sign it for me (unfortunately, that didn't happen). My friend filmed our little chat, during which he accidentally called me "sir" & quickly corrected himself with "ma'am" & then we both laughed our heads off!
He signed a head-shot of himself, & correctly spelled my name without me having to tell him how to spell it (most people get it wrong); he also signed my friend's autograph book, even though she didn't have a paid token. He was completely lovely & I told him he was a gentleman.
I'll try to post up the vid a bit later.
Feel the love.

We love hearing about fans encounters with David.
I would suspect that David would be keen for the movie as I believe he is suppose to have a pretty decent role in it. Conner, well Michael's dead so the movie wouldn't matter much to him!
Can't wait for the vids!sigpic

You have a beautiful smile!
And the Oscar goes to.....David Nykl....oh drat, he wasn't nominated, but he sure should have been! Or maybe that should be an Emmy, or a Tony....well he should get something; shouldn't he??!!Last edited by Rosehawk; 07 March 2010, 09:11 PM.sigpic
