As for the whole SciFi/SyFy thing,if the network can't spell its name correctly then someone should've been fired for suggesting such a stupid name change. The genre doesn't get the credit it deserves and for a network to intentionally misspell its name just boggles my brain cell.

I don't recall all the details but I think they had to change it for legal reasons, plus Sci-fi is a pretty generic term used to define a pretty broad range of shows in this category, where as SyFy they can trademark the name, still keep the same pronunciation without losing fans - since most will just scratch their heads as to the spelling change. Good marketing idea - my work does stuff like that alot, more of the use of acryonums to create catching titles for customers to connect with our products (or for us launching the products). For me the name change just seemed business as normal. Plus it's fun to watch some of the videos where David is making jokes about SyFy not using vowels as he turns around and looks at his own name 'Nykl' up on the screen. Kind of funny!

Yep Farscape was filmed there. Can you see David in a film about the outback? He'd be one of those cowboy types - man he'd look cool. I'd love to see him pull that type of character off on the screen!
