Maybe Hiccups will be nice enough to show you all the sig I made for her. I had forgotten how much fun it was to GIMP David Nykl, and funnily enough all the sigs I have done of him were asked of me.

I was inspired to try my hand at making a sig for a friend. I failed miserably, but I like the wording I came up with. Here it is.

No such thing as failed miserably so put those words right out of your head.

Your siggy looks nice and I hope your friend liked it.

Don't compare your work to others as you will always find something wrong in the work you do - we tend to be overly critical of our own stuff. Creativity is a form of expression and just like everything else, needs patience, time and practice!

I get tired of all the gloom and doom stuff that TV puts out today. I watch SN sporadically but do tend to end up watching most of the whole season as I do like the show. I just can't take so much negative intensity all the time and it seems like it is everywhere on TV.

David Nykl would be so cool in a SN episode or two or three. I think he can do dark complex characters really really well!

They should have taken him over Paul OK, it depends on the role in the end, but David definitely would make a great addition to the show.

Okay, I haven't seen the episode with Paul in it.....I do think that David Nykl can do the mysterious or the creepy type character better than most other actors I have seen do this type of character. Course I am only basing this off of one creepy character I saw him play but it kind of left an impression on me on his range of acting talents!

Now, I'm going to have to watch the Paul episode.

I just wish David Nykl got more prime time TV opportunities. *sigh* Acting really is a tough field to be in.

I tried to make some more. I still think they lack flair though. I left the first two without words because I didn't know what kind of a phrase to add. I know, "Practice, practice, practice..." It would probably help if I could figure out how to get some color in them.

Is it in the next season then? I will have to check that out..... Oh wait...... I am starting to remember Paul discussing this role in Chicago last month. He got asked if he lasted longer in the episode then Kavan (Lorne) and he laughed and said yes.

Last Man is on in just a bit. While it fit the story, I was bummed that Zelenka only got...what.... all of 5 seconds in that episode.

"Last Man" is one of my favs, though you have to know Zelenka to be able to spot him at all.
I just watched "Tabula Rasa" while cycling on my cardio. I love him in that episode, fighting the soldiers!

Concerning cardio: it gets heartbeats which are not from me, which is just annoying, because I thought that my pulse meter was broken and reclaimed it. I guess the wrong pulses come from my laptop, but why did this work for months and now it doesn't. And its also annoying that my pulse meter is now gone for weeks, most probably without being broken in the first place.

The new season of SPN started last Thursday, and so Paul should be in the upcoming episode in 4 weeks. I guess it will be one of the more funny ones.

Yeah, I blink and just about missed him! I'm working on a project at home right now and was looking at the project.

I liked the Last Man. Some really nice Sheppard and McKay moments. Just missing our dear sweet Radek!

Taba Rasa is one of my favorites too! It was a good Zelenka episode and for me I got to see my two favorite characters together.

Hiccups, my first sigs were disastrous. I had people telling me to stop making them! That was really embarrassing. But after practicing and experimenting for some years, I managed to make them look half way decent, and yet people seem to find them awesome. It's like Rosehawk said, you self-critcise A LOT...

As for colouring, my secret is... GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCH. Stupid, I know. I just punch in "blue texture" or "pink texture" or whatever and find something good enough to use. Then I overlay it, or grain merge, or what suits it best. Once you've done colouring for a while, you graduate into experimenting a bit - like chopping out backgrounds, adding little frame things to little pictures of Zelenka lol...and adding words.

Words are really hard, so sometimes I just don't bother. But there are some good quote websites you can use.

And I'm thinking this is really OT. Hmm how I do solve this?

ZELENKA! ZELENKA! ZELENKA! I will say at this point that I love writing him into fanfictions. He's good for a bit of humour but makes a great catalyst for things. I guess he works so well because there's none of that emotional baggage that the mains are carrying around with them.

The laptop is just there for entertainment. And the need for entertainment during sitting on that bike was the reason I found my way to Stargate in the very first place, because of quite cheap season boxes

The cardio has a heart rate monitor itself (a clip for my ear) but I prefer to use the chest strap.

I am also a great fan of Sam. She has such a kind and great personality. Its always good to have her around

I'm looking at getting a Wi and doing some stuff with that. My daughter wants one too! I have a small house so getting too much equipment doesn't work and I am not overly fond of gyms- too much pressure to conform when who really cares what you wear and alot of the people are just plain rude with newbies.
