You and me both! What were they thinking?! The only thing worse than axing the show would have been offing my favorite character!

They were just thinking about the business aspects of the show which is a whole different mind set when creativity is involved.

Them cancelling SGA before it's time feels the same as them offing my favorite character.

Or telling you they're making a movie........making a movie......making a movie....making a movie........where is the movie?

The movie is suppose to have alot of Zelenka in it, if it every gets made!

The economy may be an issue but I doubt it the entire reason...they could easily make the SGA movie instead of another SG1 movie since we already have two SG1 movies. It would have been nicer to the fans to do it that way if indeed it really is the economy that is the reason why the movie hasn't been started.
At least the script is written!

Woah, more s5 piccies! Can't wait for it, s5 starts on 12 August in Germany. I haven't seen any of it since I am waiting for the German DVDs (= for spreading the love to not-so-good-in-understanding-English friends. And well, most of the time they're a lot cheaper) and I also love the feeling when you first watch a TV series on the TV screen and not on the computer.

Just rewatching some scenes of Duet (I watched the episode earlier for the first time in English), and I was really surprised to hear some German lines from the blonde scientist.

HANGAR. The Dart wreckage has been laid out around the area, and a German female scientist is hauling a piece of the ship out of the mess. It squelches as it comes out.

SCIENTIST: Das erinnert mich an die Geburt meines Neffen! (That reminds me of my nephew's birth!)

Scene Two:

HANGAR. Rodney and Radek are studying a laptop. Finally it comes up with a result that pleases Rodney.

McKAY: Alright! Let's give this bad boy a try. (To the German scientist) Start her up, but slowly ease her into it.

ZELENKA: No, no, no, no. It's not ready. Some of these calculations are not right.

McKAY: Maybe you just don't understand them.

(The scientist starts her equipment up and there's promptly a series of explosions at the interface. Everybody ducks. The scientist swears in German as another technician runs in to put the fire out.)

Verdammt, ich wusste, dass das passiert! (Damn, I knew that would happen!)
