OMG you guys, this is off topic but I have to share...

I've been a youth leader for the past 10 years, this year three of the kids graduate and the rest graduate next year. We had a meeting tonight, well I thought it was meeting...the girls and the parents surprised me with a wonderful dinner, gift and ceremony....I am really overwhelmed at the moment....Wow.....and I am so touched by what my daughter had to say.....

So I'm going to celebrate with a bit of Radek!

Tomorrow (that is Thursday) I will go to Bonn for FedCon. I'll stay at my sister. Interestingly enough I will meet a LOT of people (that is RL people, not the guests) I have never met before and on the one hand I am really looking forward to that, but on the other hand I am not really looking forward to the con itself, though there are some really nice guests.

Hm, Klenotka, SG-Daniel and lea from here will be there, also two more Germans who also were in Vancouver, half the staff from my German SG-Board (that alone are about 8 people), a couple of guys from a DW/TW board I am from time to time and of course some the people I know the longest from my old, old Star Trek board (which was my internet living room for quite some years).

Oh dear, I guess I will be busy just with chatting to this people alone

Sounds like it will be fun at the con, meeting up with people! Back in my con-going days, that was often the only time I saw certain people because they lived so far away, but they were always at the cons and we got to catch up.
