This certainly wasn't what I thought the CVS would be like. I thought it would be more "community" and less "top-down:" flower-power, not fuel on the wank-fires. Ah well, it's a big internets... places to go, people to hang out with, people who have mostly moved elsewhere...

Well Atlantis was shelved for Universe. What bothers me the most is the way MGM and NBC chose to make the announcement and basically trounced on a loyal fan base that helped make Stargate so popular. They would prefer the controversy for promoting their new show, rather than addressing their entire fanbase base in a much more diplomatic format. What they keep forgetting to figure into the mix is that the older fan base that was slammed with the original announcement, are less apt to have the patience to give SGU a chance; customer service and treating people, or at least giving the impression of treating people with respect becomes a much bigger issue.

To be honest, I was getting tired of getting slammed by a lot of negative people when I would get on other threads, people shutting down discussions with their tone, words and such negativity that many times bordered on hatred - all for a TV show. It was a small handful of people that kept going to different threads to make sure everyone knew how they felt and that their feelings were the only legit ones. The Anti-threads didn't bother me too much, while I visited from time-to-time on some, those threads gave people with legitimate grips a safe outlet, same with the Pro-threads. It's a shame that those threads are paying the price for the few people who just couldn't get the idea of what a discussion was all about.

And now some lovely Zelenka to help get rid of this lovely headache I have and before I have to head outside and shovel snow.

*sigh* we did get to see some of the scenic views of the city! And those views were lovely, yes; very lovely indeed!

OBTW - I posted my 5th chapter of Radek and Sarah. I did change the ending a bit from when you beta'd it. The next chapter is the toughest.

Thanks. Endings are tough. I try to wrap up the ending rather than leaving it hanging open as I want to make each chapter a story in itself. Which makes me remember that I wanted to makes come changes to the chpt. 4 ending.
