Now I will stop procrastinating and go back to the sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, stuffy-head, why did I ever agree to this when I just want to write Radek/Ronon and McKay's going to break Zelenka's heart leaving him for Keller anyway, fic.

Could you do it as friendship? Or do what I did and write them as amnesiac. Hey, if you want a break, you could write up a quick kiss on non_mcsmooch at LJ... I love that comm and am having a lot of fun there.

I thought it was a good classic science fiction-type story overall. And Radek was lovely as ever. I loved the bits where he was calling Rodney brilliant- I knew something was up (feverish? ulterior motive?), since that's just not the type of thing he says typically. And I love how that turned out to be Rodney's fantasy version of him-- that pleased my little slasher's heart as well, I must admit.

Radek was just so nice and gentle when talking to Rodney. I actually started laughing at the conversation where Radek called Rodney brilliant....my mind started wondering just what the heck Radek was setting Rodney up for...especially since they tend to have a bit of a competitive relationship. Rodney was excessively snarky to Radek in this episode and Radek just took it so well....you knew something was up when his reaction was a friendly smile and not a 'pi$$ed-off Rodney you did it to me again' look.

I wonder what Radek's reaction would be like once he got back from being off-world and someone like Sheppard or Ronon told him that he was the star of Rodney's AI experience.

Was also a very nice Woosley and Sheppard episode.

I won't tell you how many pictures I've collected over the past three years...I have quite the collection now and I haven't even started with Season 5 yet! Radek *thunking* can be so addictive!

A) I wanted to slap Rodney for the first secton of the ep. "This conversation ended five seconds ago" and "my point is your point is pointless" -- I know TPTB think they're making Rodney funny, but all they're doing is making him a childish jackanape.

Radek has to be some sort of raging pacifist or else a Catholic going for his sainthood not to have belted Rodney yet.

B) Did anyone else notice Radek/DN was wearing a bracelet on his right wrist this ep? Distracting. (It's a shiny object, leave me alone. ^^;; )

C) I couldn't tell if Rodney said Radek's banquet was on MTG (in which case that was far too dorky of an in-joke) or M7G. I think if it was M7G(677), that would have been hysterically awesome. The kiddies liked him so much they insisted he return and had a banquet in his honor. *laughs*

D) Rodney's whole "you're complimenting me so we're going to die" was absolute projection.

E) I wonder what Zelenka would have thought if Chen the Communist (she's the current Chinese representative to the IOA) had ended up in command of Atlantis.

I finally tweaked the crap out of my Quicktime settings enough so that the mgm movies would play. ^^ David Nykl has way too much fun.

A) As much as I hate to say it, I've gotten so used to Rodney acting like that by now that it doesn't even faze me any more. I loved how fantasy!Radek (oh, I like saying that) let it roll right off though; that was priceless. Basically what Rodney wants is adoring followers.

E) I don't think he'd be very happy. Probably would be nervous and suspicious about what changes she might make, at least at first. And he'd avoid her a lot, I'd imagine.

I completely need to watch this episode again, because I didn't catch some of the other things you mentioned.

Quicktime7 doesn't work on my operating system, but whenever MGM puts out a video I go over to Morjana's blog to see it (the link is in her sig). So try there if you ever have problems with MGM's site.
