I thought he looked hilarious (in a good way) in the goggles, but I actually exclaimed out loud: "Gloves! Where are your work gloves; you're going to cut yourself!" I guess I go all mother-hen sometimes. But can you just imagine Radek being in something like Junkyard Wars? Rodney would need to be on a competing team, of course.

Also, I must admit my main thoughts while watching went something like this:

1. Yay, Radek's in this ep, I can't wait!
2. Ooh, there's Daniel, that's right, he's in this one. Cool.
3. The Rodney and Daniel show! They're funny! Where's Radek?
4. Ronon and Keller are talking about something. Ok, at some point we're supposed to see Radek, right?
5. Hee, Todd cutting off poor Woolsey and his speech that he worked on so hard. Heehee at Caldwell's expression. ...Where's Radek?
6. There go Rodney and Daniel. Well, they'll get out of it somehow.
7. YAYYYYYYY! Finally! There he is!
8. Ooooh, Junkyard Wars Radek! Shep's talking about something. Wait, Radek, where are your GLOVES? You'll hurt yourself!
9. Uh-oh, blinky light! Get out of there quick! Kaboom! Oh good, Radek's ok.
10. More Rodney and Daniel fun. I like them together. Means someone other than Radek is getting snarked at.

I did notice that, yes! And did you also notice how his eyes reflected the orange glow from the gate? He's got those light eyes so it was a totally amazing effect.

I really need to go back and watch that again... maybe I'll just fast-forward through the first half of the ep this time around.

while the cheating spouse surprised me, it didn't bother me too much because there was no deception involved in the relationship and it worked well into the storyline. No I am not advocating cheating so don't read that into what I just wrote. I know from personal experience just how painful that is and just how deep a cheating spouse can take the deception.

I loved the tenderness that the character used when explaining the situation to the Eureka crew. I melted at how David said those lines, his voice was very gentle and very very tender. Though I have to admit the lines were also very ackward for David Nykl fans to listen too, especially when we thunk one of his most beloved characters that he has brought to life on the screen!

Though I have to admit it took until the second viewing before I didn't cringe at the cheating spouse storyline.

When I got cable, they didn't hook up the tape player correctly so it doesn't work right. I rarely watch videos now so to me it's not worth fixing and I am not going to pay the extra to record it on TVO or whatever the box is that you can get as an add on when you get cable.
With the cancellation of SGA, while there are shows I want to see, there is no show that I just HAVE to see so I can wait. I want to watch less TV, not more.

If I really want it I can go to Itunes or wait for the DVD's.
