Ah now that's going to take some explaining

when someone say "Your mind is in the gutter" it mean you're thoughts are unclean

In this instance, Zelenka is being hugged by Dr Who's assistant Rose, Rodney walks in and immediatly assumes there's more to it than a hug, he says something like "Your a fast worker Radek, she's only been here a couple of hours" to which Zelenka replies "For God's sake McKay get your mind out of the gutter for once" only in Czech because Rodney reacts to it as the Tardis translates the Czech into English. I can't have Zelenka swear because it's being published on a BBC website

Basically the Czechs and Slovaks wanted freedom from Soviet rule when it looked like they were going to achive it the Soviets and their Warsaw pact allies moved in with tanks and soldiers to suppress it. I was thinking of having Zelenka's parents being part of that uprising and Zelenka himself being on the streets of Prague when communism fell

He'd have been maybe about 24 or so, so prehaps he could have been a student, after his military service, after all it was the students that made up the core of the protesters
