Course now I got someone in trouble I didn't intend to.....at least her and I have a strong enough friendship we can work it out.
I have been getting pulled in alot of directions and put in some very difficult situations and the resources that are suppose to help, have not been there.

My hide looks thick on the outside but not so thick on the inside. I am a very expressive, highly energetic person, so while I can remain calm during difficult situations, I need to have an outlet to express the pent-up energy.

Ok, so I know I set myself up for some jokes here.......

Quite by accident I ran across an article that says Helen, one of David's movies, is due out in theaters in October! David Hewlett is also in the movie!

It was probably something along the lines of "Mum you're so square you've got corners"

Ummm Pajus, this is my teen daughter talking to her Mom! It was just not something I expected my kid to say to me in the manner she said it!

It started out like that and then got better!

Basically I said to her that I was thinking about wearing a dark shirt so that the picture doesn't show off certain female attributes, and she was basically saying, Why? You gottem, show 'em off. Last time I wore something that showed my figure, she sortof freaked out cause she didn't think I should be showing my figure off, I am a Mom after all.

A few weeks ago I finally told her I was going to a Stargate convention in Chicago and I was going to meet one of my favorite actors and that it was going to make up for the lousy birthday I had last year. She's always telling me that my clothes are so not in style -like jeans and T-shirts ever really go out of style and that she wants to pick my wardrobe out for me so I told her she could for the Chicago convention! All two sets of jeans, one for travel the other for the convention and a few shirts - I'm traveling light so I can explore Chicago a bit as well. What's cool is she is actually excited about helping me pick something out for a Stargate Convention! ahhhhh, the bonding is back!

I've gone off jeans lately, I like my black leggings and old tour t shirts, I've still got my Status Quo shirt from their silver anniversary tour 18 years ago
