LOL. Our weather has been up and down with rain and sunshine for the past few weeks. We need more rain though, we didn't get as much snow this past winter.

Course with the rain it means you can snuggle up with your clones

Speaking of clones, I needz mine right about now.

I just got my first red today, actually got a whole sh#tload of them today and all because I did not vote for a character someone felt I should have. I like to do some of the games to meet other people, usually in an easy, relaxed manner and just to have alittle forum fun. It simply amazed me that people were more upset that I said anything and felt that I disrupted the thread instead of being concerned someone was trying to intimidate other players. I know I would want to know if anyone was trying to intimidate other players on a game, and I wasn't the only one who was redded for their vote. It's the only time in my year and ahalf on Gateworld that I have gotten a mod involved and she backed me and the other person up!
Ask me if I would do it again, knowing the consequences; yep - providing I ever go back to the game - I would because intimidation on a game thread where it is all about votes, is totally unexceptable.
(Please no green over this, just needed to vent amoungst friends abit.)

Sorry for the double post, just wanted to keep things seperate!

Take a look at the holographic skeet, young padawan. *activates a stationary holographic skeet* The red line painted on it is almost as thick as the core beam of your lightsaber blade. You are supposed to cut each skeet exactly along this line. If your cuts are precise enough, there will be nothing left of the red line. Each skeet will be flying towards you faster than the previous one. We will begin at 30 mph. The 50th (and final) skeet will be moving at a speed of 280 mph. Step into the circle in the holoraphic arena to begin the excercise.

That should be okay for now. Just one thing: Don't leave red on the skeet. The computer that generates the holograms has a little problem in letteng you pass to the next level if you do (fortunately there is a manual override for teachers).

And now something a bit more challenging: Same test as before, only this timethe lines on the skeets will be parabolic. Do your worst, youngling

PS: Intimidating people in a voting game is not cool. Those guys wold have a tough time if I was a mod

Challenging is right. Those curves are tough. I keep cutting the curve into corners. I've got to go and practice this one.

Yeah, I'm over it now. Public forums attract all kinds of people, it's how we handle ourselves that is important. Skydiver was great. She got on it within minutes of when the the other person who was targeted and myself reported the abuse and it was abuse of the rep points to try to intimidate. Her support on the issue was great.

Just 6 votes left to 50 for Radek, and Jonas is 2 votes ahead. (If Radek beats him, he finishes on 7th place - not bad, not bad at all considering the bunch of HOT guys starring in SG.)

It was on the Heal &Hurt Stargate Women's thread. It was a person who was upset that I gave Vala a negative and Weir a positive. She felt that I should be neging Carter instead of Vala since she viewed Carter as Weir's enemy. Some people are taking Carters role on SGA way way too seriously. I wasn't the only one who was given a red. And then it got worse from there because I dared to say something. I just didn't feel that intimidation and harassing players was a proper way to play a game and I called the offender on it. Other players should know when someone is not playing fairly. Funny though in all but one case it was the Vala supporters who gave me red's. The one who wasn't was a newbie. Several other players were supportive about the situation.
SkyDiver was really wonderful and really supportive.
