Exterminators use poisons and traps (passive means). Mouses are smart enough to evade traps and not eat poisons after the first one dies. You should get an outdoor cat or dog (active means) to guard the office and tell your coworkers to not feed them.

We can't have animals at work. I work for a large corporation and those things just are not allowed. The mice are under the floor where all the electrical wiring is.
