The sun is shining, but the wind is cold. Our cat is taking care of her young and there are no mice that could have a party in our garden

I am in the University now and I feel great. I came here after almost a week(it was state holiday yesterday) and I saw results of tests of two subjects. Both done The hardest exams will come but it´s good to know that I have at least something.

Rosehawk: Of course you can take it. When I get home, I can post more of them. From Q&A sessions.

Speaking of mice, you will never guess who joined me at my desk today at work. I was working on my computer and thought I saw my phone headset move and was wondering who was moving it. Stood up and it wasn't a cord moving, it was the tail of a live mouse behind my phone about 6-inches from my hand.
All I said was Oh. When someone asked, you should have heard the screaming, all over a mouse for crying out loud. Apparently we have lots of them now - can I borrow one of your cats?

Do you know how hard it was not to respond back on this Luckily I had to go to a meeting so it saved me from embarassing myself.

Anyone else imagine David in slinky leather?

Okay, this is borderline *thunkin* but David said it not Zelenka!

Sorry, Rosehawk. Our cat has to take care of her children right now. They should be able to live without her milk about four weeks from now.

PS: Ready for your next lesson, young one?

Yep Pajus; we're, uhhh, I mean, I'm ready.

LOL - Well, I don't think the mice are going anywhere. They seem to be smarter than the exterminators. Which I don't know why they just can't throw the darn critters outside to do their part in the food chain.
The mouse happened to me, yet I had much more self control then everyone else. Over half the department was in a panic over a mouse, go figure.

He is great isn't he! He really seems to have fun with his fans. His sense of humor is one of the qualities I really like in him - it is a gift to make people laugh and feel good about themselves.

Okay Pajus, I might be a tad bit embarassed to PM you because you are a guy, however a guy in leather can be a wonderful sight to behold, yes indeed, right Reefgirl?!
I don't want to go much more in detail since this is an appreciation thread and not a *thunk* thread.
If I can find the right picture to describe, then I will PM you. A picture says 1000 words - it is just too late tonight for me to go searching tonight, I'm getting tired and will be heading off to sleepy bye land very shortly.

Exterminators use poisons and traps (passive means). Mouses are smart enough to evade traps and not eat poisons after the first one dies. You should get an outdoor cat or dog (active means) to guard the office and tell your coworkers to not feed them.

Don't be jealous, Radek. I'm sure Rosehawk will use my teachings to enhance your night-time activities...

                              Anyway, here's our next lesson:

In this lesson, we are going to learn the basics of the 'Shien' (Perseverance) form. It is a form designed to protect one's self from omnidirectional gunfire. In the Shien's initial stance, you should hold your lightsaber in a 'high guard' position (hold the hilt above your head with the blade angled upwards and back) The style itself is based on a combination of Ataru and Soresu - using quick evasive moves and long jumps to quickly converge on the opponent's position and eliminate them. Another technique used by Shien practitioners is the deliberate use of the lightsaber to deflect energy blasts back at the firer while running/jumping to his position. Another good tactic is to try to convert omnidirectional fire into single-directional fire (that can be deflected with much less effort) by jumping out of a circle of opponents. Observe:

*activates training holograms and lightsaber, performs previously described tactics*

As you can see, Shien pays a high emphasis on quick hand moves (that's why I wanted your shoulder to be in perfect order). Show me what you have learned in this lesson, young padawan.

                              *reactivates training holograms*
