I really hope so too....... and having him as a head ops agent in 24 sounds like a good idea to me! I think I'd like to see him play both sides, if you know what I mean. And am hoping that he doesn't get typecast into playing scruffy scientists.... though maybe a MAD, evil, tortured genius type would definitely be interesting.

If anything he tends to get type cast as a Russian or similar type character. I would just like to see him get some really meaty roles that would push his acting talents to their fulliest because I think the end creative result would be wonderfully fantastic.

If you mean by both sides something more gentle, family figure type role with him as well as the dark and perhaps villianous role in another show then I soooo agree. As the main role not as the sidekick

I'm jealous. Sounds like you have Spring in bloom right now. The closest I will get to a Magnolia Tree right now is the resturant in the area.

Yes, I agree with you about being typecast as a Russian ori in a similar role... gotta love the accents he does though (*thunks* whoops wrong thread!) And I second that about having meatier roles, as the lead, preferably.

I like your idea. It's a shame we don't have any input over the roles that David gets, we'd definitly give him meatier TV roles and not this side character stuff.

A project my youth group is working on has a strong potiental of getting National exposure within a few years, if I can keep them focused on it; and I keep thinking how perfect David would be for a commerical spot to promote a componet of the project.
