I was wondering something stupid...
He often wears glasses in movies or series. But in the videos of the conventions I have ever seen him with glasses.
So ... he wears glasses or not ?

Yes, I know .. it's a stupid question but it's been on my mind for a long time.

No, he has said in comments that he does not need corrective lenses, but directors often dress him in glasses for his parts. He doesn't know why. I've told him in comments that it's because he'd be too handsome otherwise for the part.

And no, that is not a stupid question, it was a very astute observation. Tu es tres calee. (I hope I spelled that right, and sorry I don't have the right accents.)

He does sometimes wear reading glasses when he has alot to read to help with the eye strain - he has stated that somewhere in the past; however, at the time of Stargate he didn't wear glasses to see but as we all get older we know that sooner or later you gonna have to wear them! At least when it's time for him to actually get glasses, he will already have a pretty good idea of what looks good on him!

I guess it depends what type of glasses he's wearing. Do you all remember the pic on his blog a while back when he was doing the Chronicles of Narnia play in Vancouver and he took a photo of himself wearing the Mr. Beaver glasses? Yeah, didn't do it for me. Sorry, I like hairy men, but I draw the line at animal parts.

lol. I think because David has such a good sense of humor and has no problem making himself the object of the laughter..that he could wear just about any type of glasses and it would work for him...just simply because he can make it work with his humor!

Now I've got to go back and see those beaver glasses...I remember the blog entry but not the pic!
