I totally get the creepy thing... the episode was fun and funny but it did get kinda creepy and a little dark

once everyone but Sheppy was affected - starting really with the scene where the team comes back with the herb... as Sheppy realises he is the only one "sane" and makes peace so he can get away and plan... and as he walks slowly away and they all turn and watch him... that's creepy.. that makes you realise how serious this is and that he is all alone here.

And then in the cell - being told by the guy that as soon as your immunity wears off he's gonna force you to be exposed to his drug and you know you will effectively lose your free will at that point. That's dark. Oh and how much did I love dangerous Sheppy saying "You get too close to me it'll be the last thing you do"?! Ooooh, shivers....

As for the "rape" discussion.. I haven't even looked at the ep thread, I don't want to, I've kinda have enough of the utter nastiness and negativity and determination to find fault on there. I liked this ep and that's the way I want to stay. I can see how, if you want to dig deeper, then yes, those 6 wifes of Lucuis' are technically being drug raped - as they would never sleep with hm otherwise. However.... this episode is not intended to be any kind of moralistic story or a damning indictment of drug rape or anything like that.. it's supposed to be fun. And if anyone is claiming that letting Lucius go when he's a rapist is morally wrong (dunno if they are but it wouldn't surprise me!) then my answer to that is... a) those people are probably the same ones that claim human beings are arrogant in wanting to impose their social mores and ethics onto the Wraith... so it's hypocritical to suggest it's okay to do so to another human society in Pegasus... and b) what better justice than to hand him back over to the people he "raped"?

FCOL. People will find ANY reason to diss the show sometimes, won't they? geeze, let a fun episode be just that. Fun. Truthfully? That thought never occured to me and I'm sure I'm not alone. *shakes head*

Awww! Shep with a cold! Just wanted to nurse him *G*

I enjoyed the ep, thought Shep was the best part of it. Loved his confrontation with Liz over sending out teams and base security. Eventhough she was under the influence, it was nice to see them butt heads again; something I think should happen every once in a while. *G*

I did think it got a little over the top at the end (the stuff about Lucius flying etc) but overall was good. The whole scene with Shep and Carson was priceless: *hit* "Buck up, Carson!" ROFL Then Carson cries!!! LMAO the look on Shep's face was priceles!

Then there was Lucius' line "How do you get your hair to do that?" OMG ROFLMAO!

So, overall, enjoyable. Shep was awesome! I hope this is a trend for his character beacuse he was so "in the background" for season 2. *G*

I'm trying to decide what to do with my whumpy tag fic... I think I may go for a couple of chapters taking place troughout the ep (unlike the previous tag fics where, even with multiple chapters, they took place at just one particular point during the ep):

I think several chapters are certainly needed. There is just SO much in the ep that could have, should have been explored.
