Right everyone this is my 2000th post on the whump thread !!!!

Still all high over seeing Marine Boy again ...but must go and read Ali's fic!!!!!

I've noticed that a lot of Japanese animated characters have Joe's hair.

Cool!!

Yeah! Hair that defies gravity seems to be a common thing in Japanese animation!

I don't really remember details just a vague memory of bird people. I'm just a baby ...no really, I am!

I remember it fairly well... they used to say "transmute" into their wristwatches to turn into their "bird" superhero alteregos and the ship was called the Phoenix and used to kind of turn into fire or be surrounded by fire. And there was an annoying little talking robot guide thing that - I now know from learning about such things as an adult - was used to fill in the gaps in the story from where they cut out all of the violent stuff from the original, very violent Japanese manga cartoon!
