You poor thing not knowing about jaffa cakes. They're like a little sponge cake/cookie with a bit of orange jelly on top and then coated with chocolate. Yum!

Languages are such fun - we recently had our end of financial year party at work and we held it in a bar in town and there was a BBQ and they were serving Pimms and lemonade etc... and I had terrible trouble trying to explain to the team from the new French office what Pimms is! They were asking "What kind of drink is it?" and I was like.. "Err.. I don't know! It's Pimms! There is nothing else "like" Pimms, it's just Pimms!" The whole conversation was made that much more confusing by the fact that Pimms, in France, is actually what they call Jaffa Cakes!!

LOL! I think you need to take a great deal more care when eating those- at least make sure they don't have any little staff weapons sticking out of them.

I used to love Jaffa Cakes, but I haven't seen any in Australia for several years. That doesn't mean that they aren't around, of course, but I have looked!

My best friend still teases me about the time I had a packet of Jaffa Cakes when I was pregnant. I was craving people! That's all I can say in my own defense. I didn't really try to take her arm of when she reached for one...
