I love classical too, being a musician and all, or so rumour has it. However my favourite all time group are the Eagles. I adore them, and went to see them at Wembley 2 weeks ago. Boy, was I a happy bunny!
So, no new promo piccies or CG piccies tonight?

Aww really? Wow. I love the Eagles. Desperado is one of my faves songs of theirs... oh and Lying Eyes too.. oh just so many good songs.

Oh yeah, she's got an awesome voice. In the Arms of Angels is a beautiful song and one of my favorites.

Adore that song. She did that as the last encore to finish the concert when I saw her - just her alone at the piano singing that song. Wow. A few years back one of the many new manufactured boybands in the UK - Westlife - did a goddawful cover version of that song and I was utterly utterly enraged. I happened to see them on TV at my parent-in-law's house and I was ranting like a mad thing as soon as the music started up, crying "No! That's a Sarah song! How dare they cover a Sarah song?!!"

It drove me insane that there would be a generation of teeny-boppers out there watching squeeing and going "Oooh isn't Westlife's new song wonderful" and having absolutely no concept of what they were missing out on by not knowing the original, beautiful version.

Ok so I'm a bit odd. But I'm quite passionate about my music...

lmao.. me too.. but im not sure how old the rest of you are.. im only 21.. but i do have a love for Sarah McLachlan, although, shes not my usual style of music. I love the eagles too. I hate bubble gum pop music. it needs to die.

You're not immature hon - I am just a) into music in a big way so listen to lots of different stuff (I used to go out gigging as a singer myself) and b) grew up listening to my parent's record collections so have a range of musical knowledge and tastes far beyond my *ahem* tender years. I love a lot of stuff that was recorded before I was born!
