I should go to bed soonish. I also would quite like to go downstairs and get a drink and probably nip to the loo too but I can't leave the computer! I'm on a roll with the writing and having one of those rare moments where it's just flowing out of me. I've written like 800 words in about half an hour where usually it'll take me most of a day or at least a whole evening to do 1,500-2,000 words!

I'm scared to stop in case I lose the muse!

Keep going, then – it won't hurt you to stay up a little later than usual just once. Trust me, if you make yourself stop, you will lose it.

I've been staying up till one am working on this fic because I need to get it done...but tonight I'm going to crash earlier I think because regardless of when I do finally go to sleep, I get up at 6. Better hours than I kept when I was in college. Bed at 2 and up at 5, especially around finals time.
