Ah well. Probably a good thing really... after all, there;s only so many hours in the day and there's all the thunking and whumping to fit in... ya gotta have priorities you know!
It's not that I don't enjoy the cooking...it's just the cleaning up I don't like so much, and cooking from fresh, you seem to use 3 times the amount of knifes, spoons, pans, etc...
I'd rather just buy a pot of sauce and add the quorn and some veg to it...and spend the time here with you guys...and, of course, Shep...

Originally posted by IWantToBelieveThanks to you guys, I was able to figure out powerplay and finally do a screen cap. I've got just the one to start off with but now have it all at my hands *evil laugh* -- this was the first one I saw that made me want to 'cap it'...

Y'know, every time I see that ep, I actually feel very sorry for Joe...cos seriously, that must have been pure torture to film...with the lying still in every scene for a week of filming...

I hate washing dishes. And somehow it always seems to be "my turn".
In theory, our system is that whoever cooked, the other person washes up. yet somehow hubby always seems to find some get-out clause whereby I failed to wash 1 item from when he last cooked, or something, and therefore it's still my turn (and this is usually after dishes have piled up for a couple of days with me thinking it's his turn!).
It bugs me!
Mmmm... bugs.... buggy hawtness...

It was extremely uncomfortable and Brad did it, according to him, to test my mettle!
No actor wants to be flat on his back for an entire week of shooting, just from the physical standpoint.sigpic

Originally posted by LinziShame he didn't enjoy it. Let's hope BW ignores JF and dishes out some more whump, to test his mettle!
I don't think he would not want to do further whumpy eps, it's just, from an actor's standpoint it's a) uncomfortable and b) rather limiting creatively to be effectively immobile.
However - I personally think the latter can work to an actor's advantage as it gives em the chance to really shine, to show what they can do even when "paralysed" and Joe acted his socks off in that ep. His performance was subtle but incredibly believable - when you rewatch it you can really see the progression on his face from pain, to stoic determination, to fear, to almost despair. Amazing stuff. Go Joe!sigpic

Originally posted by IWantToBelieveBeanie, no kidding, I swear some of those frames, that's not faked LOL, so you have to give him kudos for dedication to go through that kind of torture. But I'm so thrilled he did hehehehe!
Kudos, definitely...
