I would really love a chance to walk through their sets, though.

oooh. oh man, the set tour was worth the entire price of a gold ticket last year. IN SPADES. They let you into everything. The only thing off limits was Weir's office (it was set for a shooting early Monday morning). Martin Gero and N. John Smith were the tour guides. LOL
let's see. I touched the gate (Both of them) sat in Weir's chair in the conference room, stood on the balcony, walked through the control room, went up and downt the gateroom stairs (more than once ) went into the Jumper, sat in Shep's pilot seat, sat in Caldwell's seat on the Daedalus set...
If you have the chance, GO. The set tour is amazing.
So about going to cons,,which ever,,,when they sign something,,do you buy some photo there for them to sign or do you have something with you on your own or...never ever been to one so I'm not really sure what to do...*lol*
Actually still thinking if I should really go to London,,, I really don't have it easy to just up and go to an con in the States since I live in Sweden,,,London is so much closer...
And how does all this photo session work... or you have your own camera with or...gee I feel kind of stupid...but then again never been to a con of anykind and have never met any star I truly like...
Well, with VancouverCon, it depends on the ticket you buy. With the gold pass you have one autograph wtih every star as part of the package. I was under the impression last year that they wouldn't sign anyting that wasn't bought from Creation, but I saw all kinds of people having the stars sign different stuff. If JF is going to be at Vancouver this coming year, I'm making something this time. You can purchase extra autographs at the convention if you want, and photo ops are definitely extra. They take the pictures, and you ahve about 10 seconds with the star. Basically walk up, say hi, get the pic and leave. Its like an assembly line to get everyone through the proces. (but 10 seconds with JF was memorable, let me tell you! )

Thanks for the info...however since I live in Sweden,,I hardly think I'll end up there,,,way to expensive for me...not only can I imagine that the ticket costs alot,,just the trip there,,for me would go on oh several thousands in my currency,,,then staying there for a hotel and then to top it with a ticket...uhm I think then I would be looking at over a months pay for me *lol*
Even though I would love to have gone to such an event and meet the stars and check out the set... but sadly I don't think I ever will be able to...would have to settle for this one in London if I decide to go that is
