Poor you! Can't you just say, 'Oh no! Somebody's whumping Shep, got to go......' Ok, maybe not!

good idea- but you dont know this guy - ask Mx - she knows what he is like!!!

Another friend used to deal with him and when he was on the phone I used to go outside and ring the doorbell and she would say 'Oh thats the door- I have to go'....we would have to do this about three times before he got the message.

Good thing is he only talks about himself - never asks questions so you just have to say yeah here and there to let him know you havent died of boredom!
