Whumping is completely harmless -- we just bring the characters to the point of physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion, wait a week, and do it all over again! It's great fun for everyone (well, for us anyway!)

Well, for one thing, atm=at the moment...

A plot bunny is basically a story idea. The way I understand it, it's the end up the following sentence: "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if [insert plot bunny here]?" If fed, groomed, and loved, it eventually grows into a full-fledged fic.

Not silly at all.

O.k., as I don't have any whumpalicious Sheppy pics to post, how about we have a discussion on which is our favourite whump moment so far?

I'm going to have to go for 38 minutes, the whole episode, from beginning to end! The Defiant one is a close 2nd, I love dirty, sandy,bruised and bleeding Shep, but 38 minutes wins because of the general angst and tension, as well as the agonizing pain Shep endured.
What's everybody else's favourite whump moment? (Haven't included season 2 in my choices, coz I actually haven't seen it yet, but feel free to!)

"The Defiant One" had some great Shep whumping, and "Thirty Eight Minutes was just totally awesome in that respect (and many others, but that's beside the point.) But my favorite has to be the

When he's just sitting in the dark on his bed looking all dejected, and you can tell he's scared out of his mind, I wanted to cry! And when he wakes up in the infirmary and asks, "Did I hurt anyone?" he just needed a hug. Same thing when he tells Elizabeth, "I'm not safe to be around anymore."

I'm a total sap for that kind of thing.
