got lots of flooding around town.
At the old house the yard is under water, and some As*@#*e broke into the house. Knew I should have rigged the place with C4!

Is there any way while they are rebuilding to make your new home less suseptable to flooding?

That sucks! My aunt rang this morning saying that the flooding is so bad she can't get to work today.

They are raising the floor levels of new builds in the flood zone areas...which we are now officially in.
They could have just sent us a letter!

Yes this bad...they were saying a once in 50 year event, but I just saw an article that says 100 years event. I haven't been round to the place since about 10.40am.....I hope the water didn't get in the back room of the garage where we have everything stored...that would be bad!
